During WW2 those ghetto Jews who opposed Zionism, who failed to make the move to the Promised Land of Israel, after Hitler warned them and Jabotinsky alerted them, died in their hypocritical and self-imposed exile. Will Jews still living by choice in the diaspora learn from their bad example? I doubt it.

More and more news reports are talking about the fact that Israel is soon going to sign on a cease-fire agreement with Hamas. Below are the details of a vigil tomorrow night, Motsaei Shabbat, Saturday night, calling upon the government of Israel to not stop the Gaza war until complete victory.
Secondly, this coming Shabbat all Jews we must make a special prayer for the release of our brother Jonathan Pollard. There are 5 days left for President Bush to decide whether to free Jonathan or not.

Given Pollard's blocked legal avenues, ill health, and the entry of a rookie president into office, it is unclear when Pollard will ever have another chance to be released from prison if Bush does not grant him clemency.
Esther Pollard does not wish to speak about activism, protests, or the like: "Just prayer. That's what we need now. The People of Israel have been absolutely wonderful, uniting together for Jonathan. Every person who made a phone call, or wrote a letter, or prayed, or shed a tear - they will all have a share in this amazing mitzvah and great miracle. But we can't count on that now; what we have to do now is to pray our hearts out, that G-d should have mercy on Israel, and should bless Mr. Bush upon his leaving office and soften his heart towards us and make this magnanimous and important gesture for all of us."
"I can tell you," she said excitedly, "that just this moment I got a call from the office of Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu [the former Chief Sephardic Rabbi of Israel]. They said that Rabbi Eliyahu had just walked into his office for the first time in nine months after being critically ill - and that the first thing he asked to do was to call me and pass on his blessing to Jonathan. I was so excited at hearing this that before he had a chance to do so, I gave him a blessing!"
"The major thing is that we have done all we could in terms of the natural course of events," Mrs. Pollard added, "and Rabbi Eliyahu said that the most important thing now is prayer. We must increase the level of our prayers for all the captives, and in every synagogue and in every minyan [prayer group] there must be Psalms and prayers for all the captives, including amongst them Yehonatan ben [son of] Malkah."

She said that her son is no longer Yehonatan ben Malka, but rather Yehonatan ben Amos, because now that he is no longer alive, the name goes after the father - but, she said, 'I still have a Yehonatan ben Malka to pray for, as if he was my own son.'"

HWA on Jerusalem
Herbert W. Armstrong encouraged the Worldwide Church of God members to focus on Jerusalem. Why? Mr. Armstrong recognized Jerusalem's great importance to God and, by the ways things were going, he obviously felt God would have him fulfill the prophecy given in Isaiah 40:9.
Here is what God's apostle wrote in his "Personal" in the October-November 1980 Plain Truth: "The Arab world wants the Old City of Jerusalem back into Arab control. Some nations contend Jerusalem should be made an international city. But the State of Israel has control, having wrested it from Jordan in the war of 1967.
"What has been happening in Jerusalem since the Israeli takeover in that war?
"I have been somewhat personally involved in events there since that war.
"Immediately after the death of my wife of 50 years, April 15, 1967, I flew to Jerusalem. I had two urgent reasons. I had seriously wanted to buy time on Radio Jerusalem, then owned and operated by he State of Jordan. Also I wanted to get away from Pasadena immediately into a totally different environment to ease the grief of losing the companionship of my beloved wife and partner in God’s work.
"I wanted not only to go on Jerusalem Radio, I wanted to manipulate the increase of its power to 1 million watts to give coverage over the entire Middle East. At Amman, Jordan, and in Jerusalem, in conference with the Jordanian government and its radio management, I arranged for a price for a choice time on an extended contract whereby our monthly payments for that time would finance the Jordan government in the purchase of German Telefunken equipment to boost the station power to this maximum wattage. It was one of the largest contracts for purchase of radio time ever signed.
"On Sunday morning, June 4, 1967, I left my home on our campus in England for London airport to fly to Amman to broadcast in person that evening, the first broadcast on this new contract. En route to the airport we heard on the car radio the sensational news that the Six Day War had started early that morning. No planes were allowed to get through to Beirut or to Amman. My broadcast on Jerusalem Radio never got started. By the following Friday, June 9, the Old City of Jerusalem was in Israeli hands….

A Household Word?
The general public doesn't have a clue about the Gospel or the Ezekiel Warning Message! If you don't believe me, conduct your own survey and see for yourself. That means something isn't kosher! Something needs to be done differently, more effectively, doesn't it?
That woeful ignorance indicts the Church of God, since God says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." And that same God warns about our responsibility to sound the alarm so British-Israelites and Jews, and repentant Gentiles, can seek shelter in Him and avert the imminent nuclear Holocaust.

I placed this full page ad in The Toledo City Paper, warning about Europe's new crusade for "peace." European "peacekeepers," wolves in sheep's clothing, will brutally betray both Arabs and Jews and seize Jerusalem for the Vatican, especially the coveted Temple Mount.
The German-Jesuit EU will undoubtedly exploit UN Resolution 181 and impose "peace" upon the Middle East and go after the world, targeting the British-Israelite nations. Thankfully, two outspoken men will take the stand in Jerusalem and face the nations and testify: the final revival of the unholy Roman Empire of the German Nation is a counterfeit kingdom of God - to be destroyed by the return of the King.
